You need to get a few for your stash, I'm sure you'd love them! Haha, these mattes are actually quite cool compared to my other medium browns, but I like them paired in the photo with Snowy Egret too - nice to look at the difference in texture. xoxoAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10222921812909264644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589727970044632991.post-43294649471407017292015-02-06T16:34:59.239-05:002015-02-06T16:34:59.239-05:00I think I saw an interview with a make-up artist w...I think I saw an interview with a make-up artist working with Rouge Bunny Rouge and he allso suggested that a palette of all mattes would be his dream to have in the kit - so who knows, maybe they're listening...

I don't have Solstice Halcyon yet! Is it warmer or cooler than Bohemian Waxwing? Thank you for the recommendation, Adele, I think Blackpepper Jay and Solstice Halcyon will have to be included in my next order :)

I can see how Snowy Egret would be more difficult to incorporate into looks because it's a bit of a weird shade, but I didn't notice the formula being different from their other shimmers - I'll pay super close attention now to see if it's any oilier :)

I usually prefer the no heat method too, but there was absolutely no crack between the pan and the packaging to wedge a pin into on these RBR compacts, so I asked my wise women (Belly and Karima of Shameless Fripperies) and they both recommended FIRE. That plastic took a really long time to melt though...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10222921812909264644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589727970044632991.post-62348653219084249532015-02-06T16:26:37.808-05:002015-02-06T16:26:37.808-05:00I absolutely adore the matte shades. I'd also recommend Blackpepper Jay - the Burberry formula is another of my favorites, but I liked Blackpepper Jay even more than the Burberry Taupe Brown. It's fabulous.

Snowy Egret was actually an RBR I didn't get along with! It was almost - oily on me. I wasn't a fan. But I'm glad you love it :)

Depotting the RBRs, btw, was so difficult for me! My NARS and Dior could be pried out by wedging a pin in the crack between pan and plastic, and my Suqqu could just be poked out with a pin through the super-convenient hole in the back. I'm at the point where things that need heat just require too much effort :DAdelenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589727970044632991.post-61321020877327372792015-02-06T16:25:13.150-05:002015-02-06T16:25:13.150-05:00ohhhh I have such a weakness for a good matte eye ...ohhhh I have such a weakness for a good matte eye shadow. It's hard to commit when the sizes and designs are constantly changing. The shades you picked look so pretty together - kind of warm and toasty accented by the icy shimmer of Snowy Egret.Liz (Beauty Reductionista)https://www.blogger.com/profile/12248806073054637457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589727970044632991.post-76937531475076703622015-02-06T11:21:08.014-05:002015-02-06T11:21:08.014-05:00Those RBR matte shades are just so wonderful.
