I am about a NC 15 as you are too and thinking/hoping the fair version might be a better match. Thanks again for sharing your experience with these!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08333139522014517479noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589727970044632991.post-7388989387558480422015-06-21T23:37:46.224-04:002015-06-21T23:37:46.224-04:00Appreciate the honest review - I didn't really...Appreciate the honest review - I didn't really 'get' the whole cushion foundation thing but hadn't looked into it before. Sounds so intriguing, though a matte finish is definitely my preference so if I were to try one out it would be a matte/satin finish over a dewy one. Shame that the shade was too dark for you and that the staying power wasn't strong either!emmabovaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10639685984279320297noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589727970044632991.post-74926979892407489752015-06-21T22:30:04.455-04:002015-06-21T22:30:04.455-04:00I reviewed this a while back, I think in the middl...I reviewed this a while back, I think in the middle of winter/spring when the weather was still cool? My assessment was this is not a sophisticated foundation/base makeup but a great touch-up product for SPF, particularly layering after you already have makeup on --- back then. I've tried this lately under the heat and like you, I found that it tends to gather around the creases & accentuates pores, AND I have to keep reapplying. Too bad, indeed! I was quite surprised that with this Laneige BB Cushion, I didn't get very oily on my T-zone either! Maybe that's the hydrating properties of the product that counteract my excessive oiliness?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10222921812909264644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589727970044632991.post-85780959948921163822015-06-20T11:13:40.103-04:002015-06-20T11:13:40.103-04:00I don't think your skin needs much perfecting,...I don't think your skin needs much perfecting, it always looks so flawless! Also, in hot and humid weather, even a lightweight base can feel like too much on the skin - I like using mineral powders for that reason, and yes, concealer - it's a must for me.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10222921812909264644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589727970044632991.post-21816883414080465822015-06-20T11:12:09.541-04:002015-06-20T11:12:09.541-04:00I knew the Asian shade range was different, it'...I knew the Asian shade range was different, it's great to know that not only do they have many more shades for light and medium skintones, but that they also carry different finishes! That's fantastic, I hope that maybe at one point, they will bring out more products in the US market as well. Thank you for the tips, that's very helpful!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10222921812909264644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589727970044632991.post-91113560155020829552015-06-20T11:09:45.057-04:002015-06-20T11:09:45.057-04:00That is fantastic advice and super helpful, thank ...That is fantastic advice and super helpful, thank you so much!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10222921812909264644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589727970044632991.post-70903144024091846602015-06-20T10:09:19.991-04:002015-06-20T10:09:19.991-04:00I have been tempted by this (I love that dewy fini...I have been tempted by this (I love that dewy finish), but I'm not the hugest fan of chemical sunscreens, and I wish it didn't have any. And I just bought the Bare Minerals gel and while I do like it, I find myself usually just settling for concealer daily. Still, the idea of perfect dewy skin is such a siren song!Lariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11200818450787830416noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589727970044632991.post-44634494753869823772015-06-20T05:51:48.764-04:002015-06-20T05:51:48.764-04:00Don't get the releases they made for the Weste...Don't get the releases they made for the Western market, go for the originals. There are currently 3 different formulations for different finishes (very glowy, dewy and a velvety matte) which correspond to different skin types. The matte one works decently well in humid Singapore. The Asian range is very differently coloured too. instead of having basically one shade for each end of the skin tone spectrum, there are 4 shades for fair to medium yellow based skin tones. You"ll probably find a better colour fit there. I wear the third darkest as a relatively fair skinned South East Asian Chinese person(NC 20)paisleyprintshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17174753372090499927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589727970044632991.post-89399582700890025962015-06-20T03:07:08.084-04:002015-06-20T03:07:08.084-04:00Bummer the shades didn't work out for you. Go for color #13 or #21 refill from any Amorepacific companies such as IOPE, LANEIGE, SULLHWASOO, etc. Refills fit in the compact that you have(Laneige) as long as it is not from ETUDE HOUSE.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7589727970044632991.post-84689446759165539682015-06-20T01:38:20.820-04:002015-06-20T01:38:20.820-04:00Hi Monika, I haven't tried the Laneige but I h...Hi Monika, I haven't tried the Laneige but I have one from IOPE in shade N21. I think it would suit warmer skin tones about NC15-20 but I'm guessing those with cooler skin tone can pull it off too, because the base is quite neutral. It is dewy, as you said, the look of K-pop. But I don't feel the need to blot throughout the day, and I live in an extremely hot and humid weather. Perhaps it'll fare better on you?
I have normal skin that gets a little shiny on my T-zone. Hope that helps! Lily @ChloeAshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00837768625763845029noreply@blogger.com
