It's been a while since I last posted a Face of the Day, so here's the look I've rocked to an evening out with some friends and strawberry mojitos. I've also figured this way you'll be able to see the condition of my skin now after having used my Bioelements routine for over 2 weeks.
I didn't want to go overboard as it was a rather casual get together, so I opted for a subtle cool-toned smokey eye to go with blue patterns on my top. You know how I love my navy eyeliner!
The photos, as always, are a bit bleached out and somehow I seem to have a sunburnt, which, I assure you, is not the case.
I used some of my current favorite products as well - let me know if you'd like me to review any of the products listed below. I am also planning a post featuring my top Inglot eyeshadows with swatches, so look out for that!
Products used:
Face
100% Pure Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 with Fruit Pigments in Creme
Inglot green color corrector on blemishes
MAC Studio Finish concealer in NW20 under the eyes
CS mineral foundation in Light to set
Cheeks
Benefit Hoola bronzer
Benefit CORALista blusher
Eyes
Benefit F.Y.eye eyeshadow primer
Inglot taupy lilac pearl eyeshadow (similar to MAC Shale) all over the lid
MAC Satin Taupe eyeshadow in the crease
Inglot light pink pearl eyeshadow to highlight
L'Oreal HIP cream liner in Midnight Blue
Prestige Total Intensity eyeliner in Navy on the upper waterline

ReplyDeleteHey,
ReplyDeletejust found your blog and am already loving it! Great look! By the way, I was thinking about buying that particular concealer by MAC and as you seem to love it, I guess I'll order it asap. ^-^
I'm looking forward to new posts in the future.
Greetings from Germany.

ReplyDeleteHun, you look so, so good! I'd love to see more FOTD xx
ReplyDelete@The Beauty Bite: Strawberry mojitos with you is such a fab idea!
ReplyDelete@Modesty Brown: Thank you so much, hun! My skin's not all that great, I'm still wearing my concealer and mineral foundation in the photos; without them, I'd be lost! xxx
@Musing on Beauty: I'll certainly do this post as soon as I can, I'm working on my camera set-up to get proper swatches!
@Daisy: Coralista is defo a must have for summer! x
@Kay: I don't like obvious foundation so I wear my Revlon Colorstay very rarely - I think I prefer how my skin looks without even considering the imperfections and freckles :)
@comen83: I'm so glad you're liking it! Studio Finish is great for covering blemishes/scars but also larger areas, like undereye circles or redness, provided that you use some moisturizer underneath to help it blend into the skin; otherwise it has a tendency to look a bit cakey. Hope this helps! xxx
@Giddy Princess: Welcome, hun and thanks for the compliments!
@rachelwears: Thank you sweetie, it all boils down to good base I guess!
@Marina: There'll be more, pinky promise :) xxx
ure so beautiful!
