Milani Cyber Monday Haul

I normally try to be a bit more interesting (or less boring, depending on your point of view) and not publish two of the same type of posts in a row, but I've lost my blogging mojo somewhere between buying Norwegian-sweater leggings and cooking dinner today. So, this will have to do for now.

I was actually convinced that I was not going to receive my Cyber Monday haul at all because I made a typo in the billing information; much to my surprise, a week later the little package was already waiting for me at home. I'm so glad that it came through, I'm loving everything I got! The Cyber Monday 50% off sitewide sale was a bit of a pain to navigate due to heavy traffic, but so worth it in the end, especially that Milani is very difficult to come by here in WA.

I'm not posting any swatches just now on purpose, I actually have a couple more comparison posts planned featuring these products. Let me know though if there's something you're dying to see!

Also, how many shots of the exact same thing can you fit into one small post? Apparently, THREE.

What have you got during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales?

  1. Those nail polishes look divine! Can't wait to see them in action :).

    p.s.
What is it with us and losing our blogging mojo, lately? It's taking A LOT of effort to write posts right now! >.<

  3. @Dani: I know, when I saw them I knew they had to be mine! I think the lack of blogging mojo has something to do with the Holiday season...

@Tracy: It IS super prettty, I've been wearing it constantly! Just the right amount of subtle shimmer/glowiness.

  4. I couldn't resist Milani's Cyber Monday sale either but I was strong and resisted the blushes!
The whole ordering process was such a drag though.

  5. I love the red one coat glitter polish. It's so stunning on!

And I seem to find Milani a lot here in WA! The biggest selection I know of is in Wal-mart. But I've seen displays at Walgreens and K-Mart too (but I hate going in there!).

  6. Yeah, where the heck do we find Milani here??? Jeez. I did not know about this sale, which is probably a good thing.

And I'm losing blog steam, too. Trying to run a series of post next week to kick that back up, but I think it's the holidays and the fact that it's nearly impossible to take a decent photo around here. I have to do marathon swatch and photo sessions on the weekends, and I'd rather be doing something else, you know? C'est la vie.

  7. Oooooooh, new pretty things! I like how there's a little bit of everything in here. Very organized and refreshingly modest. I approve! lol

  8. I ended up getting two of the baked blush (I have been eying on forever but never got, because I don't think I have ever paid over 3 bucks for any drugstore face product) from the sale and some random stuff from CVS that ended up being free(most of them are just dental products though).

  10. @Ashley: I think these are my new favorite drugstore blushes, the one I got is so awesome!

@Angie: Oh, I never knew that - we never shop at Walmart or K-mart because they're a bit of a drive from Bellevue. Thanks for letting me know!

@Larie: I know exactly what you mean, I do swatch sessions that last for 2 hours and leave me devoid of anything interesting to say. I'm going to try to schedule some posts for the Christmas period though, especially that we're going to Poland!

    @Liz: I was exercising restraint, Reductionista-style!

@Citrine: That's a good rule to have :) What do you think of the blushes?

@Sue: I think it took me like an hour and a half, but the package was delivered super fast!
