Technically, a week too late, but I hope you'll still enjoy... In fact, I did this look in celebration of a completely different day; details soon to come so don't fret, my dears.
My inspiration was this gorgeous pair of false lashes I was sent from KKcenterhk.com, home to countless fabulous and inexpensive falsies. This pair are just these most amazingly shiny lashes of blue and red artificial hairs crisscrossed together. If you look carefully in the photos, you'll see one lash has some of the corner hairs pointing down; my messy application caused some strands to weave out. Also, if you look carefully, you'll see blobs of lash glue. Please don't judge; I freaking hate my lash glue, it makes my eyes water.

Barry M Dazzle Dust in Black Petrol looks amazing patted on top of this navy base, the soft blue/green shimmers give it a lot more dimension. I opted for a very clean look underneath with just some metallic pewter blended into the skin with a bit of matte white eyeshadow.
If you ask me where you could wear it, I'm pretty sure visitors of a Comic-Con wouldn't even bat an eyelash at you. It's a bit Wonder Woman-ish, isn't it?

Wow! You're like a forest fairy :)))
ReplyDeleteYou look like a lovely and pretty little devil :-)
ReplyDeleteHoly crap this is amazing! It looks really Labyrinth-esque - you know - the terrifying film with David Bowie, the tight leggings and Jennifer Connelly? Wow - you are so talented! And the blushes look really great on your skin tone, lovely! xxx
ReplyDelete@Eli: Thank you, dear! :)
ReplyDelete@Musing on Beauty: That's actually true, I haven't thought about it this way... x
@Cami: Hahah, maybe minus the haircut :) I love all the blushers you sent me, but I think Accessorize 'Diva' gets the most use! x
This is amazing - that lipcolour is really gorgeous too x
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love it! Especially the blue, will take a look at it, thanks for sharing. x
ReplyDeleteWow this looks amazing! I love your hair! Everything looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHi!! I just can't put false lashes on my eyes... I wish I could, they give such an impressive effect for so many occasions! Love your makeup ****
ReplyDelete@Saskia the Style Fairy: I love Sleek's PoutPolishes, they're one of my favorite lip products!
ReplyDelete@Marina: I'm not a fan of the L'Oreal cream liner as it dries out very fast, but the Dazzle Dust is gorgeous x
@Lillian Funny Face: Thank you, lovely :) x
@Fleur-de-Lis: I know what you mean, hun. I find that using tweezers to apply and bending the lash to soften the band really helps. Also, make sure to use a good lash glue... Not like I do! :)
that makeup is INCREDIBLE!
ReplyDeleteDid you do comic-con? If not, I hope you wore this look somewhere! What a perfect masquerade/mardi gras look! Happy lent xx
ReplyDelete@Kallie: Thank you!
ReplyDelete@fantastic: We just went out of curiosity and to take some photos and I was wearing something very safe and boring :( But just playing with make-up was fun nevertheless! x
Stunning look, very artistic!!!!
ReplyDeleteWell done!!!
